57 representatives of countries participated in the OSCE Ministerial Council, including the head of the Polish Foreign Ministry Zbigniew Rau, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov.

The country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported the positive result of the COVID-19 test at the head of the Finnish diplomat, Pekka Haavisto (Green Party). “The minister has no symptoms, works remotely from home” – he stressed.

In the information sent to the participants, the organizer of the OSCE Ministerial Meeting, the Swedish Ministry of Diplomacy, called on participants to “be aware of the symptoms of COVID-19 that may occur in the next 14 days.” They also called for compliance with health regulations in their countries.

In Stockholm, the heads of diplomacy attended the dinner on December 1, and the plenary sessions of the OSCE were held on December 2 and 3.

There is no obligation to wear masks in Sweden, and only visitors from abroad are advised to get tested for COVID-19.
