A series of seminars have started for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) wishing to apply for funding up to a maximum of PLN 200,000. PLN is in the Minimum Assistance Formula for the Development and Implementation of a Foreign Expansion Strategy as part of the upcoming release of the Polish Technological Bridges (PMT) Project of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) for the United States, Mexico, Kenya, Malaysia, Taiwan and Saudi Arabia, PAIH reported.

“We provide professional support to Polish business people, based on the knowledge and experience of PAIH experts. We’ll show you the best way to prepare for foreign expansion. Qualifying companies will receive a tailored and even tailored strategy to enter markets outside the European Union. Our experts will assist, among other things, in establishing relationships with business partners and will be available to grant beneficiaries as well after project completion. The share in the competition is a grant amounting to PLN 200,000. PLN in minimum assistance formula “- said the expert on the Polish program for technological bridges, PAIH Leszek Kołodziejczyk, in the statement.

According to the agency, this year’s inaugural seminars will be held in virtual format, the first being on June 10 – dedicated to the markets of the USA, Mexico and Kenya. The second online meeting will be held on June 24th and will be dedicated to Malaysia, Taiwan and Saudi Arabia.

“During the seminars, the assumptions of the PMT project, the advantages of participating in the project, the specificity of the target markets and examples of companies that have already succeeded thanks to PMT will be discussed. The meetings are also consultations and advice from experts from the Polish Investment and Trade Agency and external partners” – this was also announced

The competition was organized for the eleventh time, and so far more than 2.5 thousand Polish companies have participated in it. The grant is awarded to approximately 400 PLN for a total value of more than 43 million PLN. As part of the project, support is provided to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises with high potential to internationalize their products, services, and technologies, according to the PAIH.

The Polish Technological Bridges project was implemented in 2018-2023 and co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund within the framework of support for the third priority axis of innovation in enterprises, Action: 3.3. Supporting the strengthening and internationalization of innovative institutions for the 2014-2020 Smart Development Operational Program. The total value of corporate support will be more than 176.5 million PLN.

The Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) is a consulting firm that is part of the Polish Development Fund (PFR) group. The first point of contact for exporters and investors. It operates both in Poland and through Foreign Trade Offices (ZBH) around the world. It enhances the recognition of Polish brands in the international markets, promotes local products and services as well as technological solutions made in Poland.
