Last week they went out Information about disturbance from the DualSense ControllerWhich the team of Chimicles Schwartz Kriner and Donaldson-Smith took advantage of almost immediately – Lawyers asked players who had problems with their equipment to submit applications.

There are several indications that the DualSense controllers malfunction has been hit by multiple users that CSK&D has already filed a lawsuit. An application has been filed in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York against Sony Corporation of America and Sony Interactive Entertainment – including affected parties Lmarc Turner from Virginia and other US customers.

According to the lawsuit, the lawyers point out DualSense is “buggy”:

“Specifically, the DualSense controllers used to operate the PS5 contain a defect that causes characters to move or gameplay on the screen without user input or manual operation of the joystick. This defect greatly interferes with gameplay and thus violates the basic functions of the DualSense controller.

The lawsuit cites numerous reports of gamers who have suffered from DualSense controller analog drifts – the numerous issues of users from Reddit and social media will be underscoring the scale of the device’s shortcomings.

Według Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith, Sony has identified the analog problems with DualSense, and it equips the controller with “practically the same analog components” as on the DualShock 4. Which has also encountered similar flaws, and the repair possibilities are “small”.

Another contrast is the hotline and warranty repair process – customers are required to pay the costs of shipping the console to the manufacturer.

“Customers face long waits and have to deal with a maze of pre-recorded phone claims before finally speaking to an agent about skew fixing for the DualSense controller.”

Lmarc Turner, the main victim identified in the lawsuit, confirmed that he bought the PlayStation 5 on February 5 and that he had problems with DualSense analogs on the same day. According to attorneys, if a customer was aware of such a nuisance, he wouldn’t buy the PS5 or pay much less for the hardware.
