Volleyball in the League of Nations has been organized by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball since 2018, as a continuation of the World League Championship played in 1990-2017. Russia has won two previous editions (2018, 2019). In 2020, the event was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. The 2021 edition takes place in the Italian city of Rimini in a “safe bubble”.
