T-Mobile is developing the SD-WAN service – TELEPOLIS.PL

“SD‑WAN od T Mobile” It is a modern, integrated solution that simplifies management of a WAN by integrating network and security functions and using a centralized management mechanism for all network elements. Its distinguishing features are, above all, application-level traffic optimization, an advanced security system, the possibility of multiple access in the active link model, comprehensive big data analytics that allow analysis of quality parameters and the possibility of full integration with the existing MPLS network. SD – WAN enables optimal use of bandwidth and increases application performance or reduces packet loss.

The service is offered as of September 2020. Since then, T – Mobile has extolled the advantages of SD – WAN, listens to customer expectations and evolves its offering. Currently, the operator has solutions from three suppliers in its portfolio: reverse networksAnd Cisco Meraki And Cisco Viptella. Thanks to this, T-Mobile can adapt the service to the individual needs of a particular customer, depending on technical requirements, applications used, operation on cloud resources, network coverage, solutions currently in use, number of branches or budget.

During the analysis, implementation and management of SD – WAN, the customer is accompanied by a team of T – Mobile engineers who develop the functionality and capabilities of the service and solutions offered by one of the three suppliers. Thanks to this, it is possible not only to optimize costs, but also to adjust the service in accordance with the new needs of the customer. This approach allows for appropriate technology adaptation and facilitates the implementation of the entire process, from the idea and demand for managed SD-WAN in the company, through analysis and implementation, to ensuring technological continuity and further technological development in the future.
