Opening of experimental classes for children as part of “WF z AWF” with the participation of the Minister of Education and Science

Today, on June 14, the Minister of Education and Science, Przemyslav Ksarnik, participated in the opening of the experimental movement’s classes “From theory to practice”. Classes for primary school students were conducted by early education and physical education teachers from Bialystok schools trained in the first phase of the “PE from AWF” programme. Systematic supervision of the exercises was provided by experts from the Biała Podlaska branch of the Academy of Physical Education.

– The program “WF z AWF” is 42 million PLN under contract with physical education academies throughout the country and more than 40 thousand PLN. Teachers already registered in training. I would like to thank the President of Józef Piłsudski University of Physical Education in Warsaw for his desire to speed up training so that children can benefit from classes as soon as possible – said the Minister. Thank you for preparing professionally. These are the teachers’ opinions. These exercises give them a lot. The Minister of Education and Science added that access to theoretical knowledge and the psychological component is very important after the pandemic period.

Today’s demo classes were attended by Biała Podlaska primary school students, who were trained under the supervision of physical education teachers trained by experts from the AWF.

Lessons were carried out in two age groups – the first for students of grades 1-3, including the integration class, and the second – for children of grades 4-8.

Training all over Poland

Let us remind you that as of May 28 this year. Teacher training is underway at AWF centers across the country. This is the first phase of the “PE from AWF – Active Back to School” programme.

Experimental lessons are the activities that precede the second phase of the Sports Club programme.

In total, it is planned to train approximately 42,000 people at AWF centers across the country. Teachers of physical education and early childhood education. Teachers who have completed training – along with their school – will be able to apply for funds to organize additional classes for students.
