Mountain Film Festival under the Tatra Mountains!

going inside 17. Mountain Energy Festival (24-27.06.2021) One of the highlights of the event is the 17th edition of the International Film Competition. The main objective of the competition organizers is to present the best mountain films to the festival audience. SzFG is a member of the International Mountain Film Alliance, an organization that connects the largest and most prestigious mountain film festivals in the world.

As part of the 17th edition of the competition, the international jury will award the following prizes:

• Main Prize – Main Prize
• Award in the Sports Category (funded by the Polish Mountaineering Association)
• Prize in the Culture category (funded by CKSTiB at Gniewino)
• Prize in the Nature Category (Award for Director of Tatra National Park)
• Young Filmmakers Jury Prize (Young Jury of the Canary School Complex in Zakopane)
• Best Polish Film Award (Sponsored by Andrzej Zawada Foundation, Polish Himalayas)

In addition to the traditional wooden mountain carvings made by Marcin Rosa, the winners will receive prizes ranging from PLN 2,000 to PLN 5,000. There will also be a film competition, the winners of which will be funded by the Center for Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Gniewno Library.

This year, the organizers invite you to watch as much as possible 30 unique creationsViewers will surely remember this for a long time. The event participants will present performances from all over the world (Poland, France, Italy, Spain, Great Britain, the United States, Hong Kong, Nepal, Israel, Norway, Switzerland, Russia, Iran). 17 films will be shown at the premiere. There will be production of ecological chains in cooperation with Krakow Green Film Festival.
