Plac Konstytucji 3 Maja is located in the village of Osiedle Niewiadów, in Ujazd. It is a small town, but the implementation shows that public squares should not be filled with concrete, but rather become a friendly place for all residents.

There was concern that Plac Konstytucji 3 Maja would be covered with concrete. The authorities wanted to create a representative venue here to organize the celebration. Fortunately, it was decided to implement a completely different green concept.

During the construction of the site, as many old trees as possible were preserved, 150 new shrubs and 1,500 shrubs were planted. There are also popular beehives, birdhouses, animal feeders, benches and hammocks. The parking spaces are noteworthy – there are a few of them, and each wing is separated from the other by a tree. The priority was not to cram as many parking spaces as possible. Plac Konstytucji 3 Maja is crowned with a tall pole with a commemorative flag and information panel. The painting is dedicated to the count who owns the neighboring villages. Count Tomas Adam, Count Ostrovsky, of the Rawicz coat of arms participated in the development of the May 3 constitution.

The residents liked the renovation so much that, as part of the civic budget, they decided to decorate the lighting space with an installation with the phrase “I love Osiedle Niewiadów”.

The square was built next to the municipal cultural center. There is also a local swimming pool in the vicinity which is undergoing modernization. The investment is made by the municipality of Ojaz.
