IPhone 12 mini will not be available for pre-order until next week, but YouTuber managed to get a device early. The video gives our first real look at the iPhone 12 mini and its new 5.4-inch screen along with comparisons to other iPhone models as well.

Update: The original video has been removed; We have downloaded another copy of it below.

The over 40-minute video from Roman YouTuber George Buhnici is our first look at the iPhone 12 mini outside of an Apple special event earlier this month. The device will not be available for pre-order until November 6, and the first orders will not arrive until November 13. We expect to publish the early press reviews sometime between these two dates.

The video offers a look at the design and size of the iPhone 12 mini, and explains how it compares to the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro, both of which feature a 6.1-inch screen. We can also learn how to optimize various parts of iOS 14 for the 5.4-inch screen, as well as a look at the camera technology.

Unfortunately, the video can be a bit difficult to follow because it jumps back and forth between subjects, and because Ponese speaks Romanian. However, this is still our first look at the iPhone 12 in the real world until full reviews and the version of the device are published.

IPhone 12 mini features a 5.4-inch screen with nearly identical feature set to the 6.1-inch iPhone. SE but is actually smaller due to its edge-to-edge design. IPhone 12 mini’s screen is 2340 x 1080 in resolution, which is equivalent to 476 pixels per inch.

What do you think of this early iPhone 12 hands-on video? Are you planning to purchase the device when it’s available for pre-order next week? Let us know in the comments!
