Leeds United FC is pleased to announce the signing of Rennes Ravenha, subject to international approval.

The 23-year-old joined the club for an undisclosed fee by Ligue 1 and signed a four-year contract on Elland Road, which will run through the summer of 2024.

The Brazilian started his soccer career with local club Avai, before infringing on Portuguese side Vitoria de Guimarães in 2016.

After playing 84 games for Vitoria, scoring 22 goals and providing 13 assists over two seasons, he was signed by Sporting CP.

With Sporting CP, he helped the club win both Taça de Portugal and Taça da Liga in their first season 2018/19.

After his impressive debut campaign at Estádio José Alvalade, Renn moved to secure his services last summer for £ 18m.

He appeared with the French team 30 times last season, scoring seven goals and providing five assists, and Rennes finished third and qualified for the Champions League.

This season, he played six times with Rennes, and his last appearance came in yesterday’s 2-2 draw with Reims, in which he scored a goal, leaving the club at the top of the standings.

Ravenha also has experience playing in European competitions, having appeared in the UEFA Europa League with Vitoria and Sporting CP Wren.
