Gogglebox favorites, Jenny and Lee received some disturbing news for Channel 4 fans at the start of last night’s show.

The duo Hull made the announcement while laying their Christmas tree.

Longtime friends shared a photo on Instagram As they walk away in front of the camera but the mood didn’t remain very festive.

They commented on the post: “Happy Friday everyone, or is it?”

Another Gogglebox from the series tonight (the emoji cries)

“Hope you enjoy the show. A little light rest, we’re still making the tree. Now the cameras are gone, see you at 9.”

Things didn’t last for the festivities for long – sad news was coming!

Thankfully we won’t see the last of them in 2020.

There will be at least three Gogglebox specials over the Christmas period, given some of the funniest moments of the year.

The Gogglebox Celebrity Episode 2020 will air on Friday, December 18th.

The film will feature Rylan Clark Neal, mother Linda and Roman Kemp, singer Abbey Martin Kemp, Dennis Van Otien and her partner Eddie.

Also appearing will be radio stars Jimmy Thickston and Ashley Roberts, comedian duo Mo Gilligan and Babatunde Aleshe, and Happy Mondays co-stars Sean Ryder and Biz.

But that definitely won’t be the last we’ve seen on the show this year!

Then on Christmas Day, Gogglebox: Best of 2020 will appear on our screens.

That’s not all – another festive show will come January 1, as families look back on the biggest moments of Christmas TV.

But fans are sad that the latest series has now come to an end.

One commented, “Oh, this season is almost over. Happy birthday, guys.”

Another situation: “She turned her last, you two tonic we all need right now.”

And a third said, “Well, I’ll miss you all. I wish you a Merry Christmas and stay safe.”
