FromSoftware has announced the official hardware requirements for the PC version of Elden Ring. It’s probably official – because it coincides with the ones we wrote about on Friday that were removed.

They’ve been on the production card for quite some time on SteamBut on the same day it was removed. Today, however, FromSoftware Studio gave in the last Official requirements. To make it even more fun, the minimum hardware configuration required to run the game is almost the same as the one we wrote last week.

  • Photographers card: AMD Radeon RX 580 with 4 GB VRAM / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 with 3 GB VRAM
  • memory: 12 GB RAM
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • The operating system: Windows 10
  • disk space: 60 GB

Elden Ring – Recommended PC Requirements

  • CPU: Intel Core i7-8700K / AMD Ryzen 5 3600X Processor
  • Photographers card: AMD Radeon RX 580 / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 with 8 GB VRAM
  • memory: 16 GB RAM
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • The operating system: Windows 10 or 11
  • disk space: 60 GB


Adding to the absurdity of this situation is the fact that identical demands were circulating on the Internet yesterday (See screen below). However, they were considered liars. Seems wrong – well, unless the developers delete their entries today and come back with them in a couple of days.
