Manchester United striker Edinson Cavani has sent a message of congratulations to his new team-mate Facundo Pelletri.
Veteran striker Cavani joined the Red Devils in a two-year deal after his departure from Paris Saint-Germain.
He was joined by fellow Uruguayan Pellistri after a busy day of deadline with the young winger who signed from Penarol.
Undoubtedly, Cavani is expected to play a role in helping Pellestry settle into Old Trafford as he adjusts after moving to Europe.
He congratulated his fellow countryman after his dream move, saying he was ready and waiting to be welcomed into the club.
Cavani wrote, “Congratulations Fako.” Instagram He also shared a picture of United revealing it as their latest signature.
“Safe trips and we’ll wait here to accompany you.”
In response, the teenager wrote: “Thank you very much Eddie!
“You are a crack [great player]. Let’s go!”
Pellestre played 37 games for Pinarol in the Uruguayan First Division last season, building his reputation by being on United’s radar.
“To join a club with a history Manchester United “A dream come true,” he told the United’s official website.
Manchester United are looking to chart their way back to the top. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already brought in Donnie Van de Beek but Jadon Sancho remains the number one goal for Manchester United.
