Bon Jovi fans can get a taste of what’s coming to the Stadium of Light this summer with a free live video stream of their show TONIGHT! (FRI MAR 1).

The tour kicks off in Tampa, Florida tonight for the North American leg of the tour before heading to the UK and Europe.

Fans can click here to view the first 30 minutes of the show which kicks off at 12.30am GMT (technically Saturday morning Sunderland time!)

The group is hitting the road with Bon Jovi: Because We Can – The Tour. The band last performed in the North East in 1993 and will return to the region 20 years on from their first visit this summer  on June 13th 2013.

Bon Jovi’s return to the road next year caps an incredible run which has secured the band’s status as the essential live rock band – having performed more than 2,700 concerts in over 50 countries to more than 35 million fans. The latest tour will kick off in North America in February before travelling through Europe, the Far East, Africa, Latin America and Australia.

Because We Can – The Tour will also debut brand new songs from the band’s latest album ‘What About Now’, due out in Spring 2013. Shows will of course also feature the band’s classic hits including the anthems “Livin’ on a Prayer,” “You Give Love a Bad Name,” “It’s My Life,” and many more.
