Apple today unveiled the long-awaited new MacBook pro equipped with the new M1 Pro and M1 Max processors, designed for the most demanding professional users.

As expected, the new MacBook Pro comes with a MagSafe connector, an HDMI connector, a memory card slot, and a screen indent known from iPhones called a “notch”. Expectations about the lack of a Touch Bar also came true. The new MacBook Pro has a full keyboard with a row of function keys. Interestingly, the keyboard cavity in black makes working on it more comfortable.

The new MacBook Pro is equipped with small LED displays like Liquid Retina XDR with up to 120Hz refresh and Pro Motion technology. The new monitors have 1,000 nits of brightness, 1,600 nits of peak brightness and 1,000,000:1 contrast. 14-inch and 16-inch (16.2-inch to be exact) versions are available.

The new MacBooks are equipped with a much better camera (1080p), microphones and a six-speaker sound system (four whistles and two bass). Supports Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos sound system. It is available in both 14-inch and 16-inch models.

The new MacBook Pro is equipped with 64GB of built-in memory. Apple is proud that the new models outperform even the Mac Pro in terms of video processing.

The energy efficiency of the new models has also been greatly improved. So the 14-inch MacBook Pro offers 17 hours of video playback. In contrast, the 16-inch model has up to 21 hours of video playback, and both models are equipped with a fast charging function, which allows you to charge the battery to 50% in 30 minutes.

New Mac computers run under the control of macOS Monterey, which takes advantage of all its capabilities. Apple has also improved its main applications such as Logic or Final Cut for the capabilities of new processors.

Presale for the new MacBook Pro begins today. It will be available for sale next week. Prices start from PLN 10799.
