Futureheads frontman Barry Hyde will be playing an intimate acoustic show in Newcastle in December.

The gig, on December 5, is at Jumpin’ Jacks (above the Dog and Parrot), in central Newcastle.

On the night, a selection of up-and-coming singers and songwriters will be performing a selection of popular tracks throughout the decades (1940’s to the 2000’s).

Headliner Barry Hyde will close the show covering the noughties, as well as a variety of tracks from his solo work and Futureheads days.

Supporting on the night will be a performer for each decade, including a range of up-and-coming talent such as ‘Ellie Sunderland’, an Open Mic UK finalist, who will be covering the 1940’s, Durham finger picking genius ‘Connor Thomas’ taking care of the 1970’s and Heavy Jets frontman ‘Rhys Breen’, covering the 1990’s.

Tickets for the event can be bought online for £5 at Seetickets.com.
