Not all Valentine’s Day is a time of love and happiness. Sometimes a broken heart causes a lot of anxiety and sorrow. The zoo in Kent, Great Britain, opposed these sentiments. On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, you can name a cockroach after your ex.

On Valentine’s Day, one of Britain’s zoos, the Hemsley Conservation Center, thought of everyone, including those whose broken hearts had not yet healed. In it, you can name a cockroach in honor of your ex-lover. On the one hand, you can pay, and on the other hand, do something good, because the money for the purchase of this service is spent on projects related to the development of the garden.

In addition to naming this hated animal, she also receives a certificate that states: “I named a cockroach at the Hemsley Conservation Center in unloving memory of my worthless ex-wife.”

The British Zoo and its extraordinary work on Valentine’s Day

The campaign was first organized 11 years ago, i.e. in 2011. Since then, on February 14 of each year, for a small fee, you can name a cockroach by your chosen name. The entire procedure costs just £1.50.

This is not the only place where you can name this non-noble animal. Also in the United States, the Bronx Zoo is an option. However, it costs up to $15 there.
