Leeds scored the most Corona Virus Deaths in Yorkshire, the region has seen the bloodiest day since May.

Another 37 coronavirus patients have died in Yorkshire hospitals according to the latest figures released by NHS England.

This is the highest number recorded in a single day since May 12.

Hospitals in Leeds The highest rise was recorded in Yorkshire, with 14 more deaths.

The NHS Foundation Trust of Bradford Teaching Hospitals was not far from that number with eight others.

This comes at a time when another 185 deaths were recorded as hospitals were registered in England, bringing the total number of confirmed deaths reported in hospitals in England to 31,743 cases.

Patients are between 32 and 98 years old. All but seven (aged 66 to 90) knew of underlying health conditions.

The date of death ranges from April 6 to October 23, 2020, with the majority being on or after October 20.

Their families have been informed.
