Although the premiere of Windows 11 is fast approaching – it turns out that many people still do not even know about its existence. The online store chain Savings.com found out about this and decided to conduct a survey among its customers.

The company sent questions about the upcoming Windows to 1,042 PC users. Only some of them were aware of the upcoming update. According to the officially released information, only 38 percent of the respondents said that they were aware of the existence of Windows 11. In addition, more than two-thirds of the respondents did not know if their computers met the requirements for installing an important patch at all. Uncertainty about the new system and fears about its installation also dominated responses.

It’s hard to say whether the study’s findings will translate into increased Microsoft marketing efforts. Windows 11 is expected to debut on October 5 this year. However, until the official launch, beta testers can learn about the next batch of Windows 11, which was recently included in the Insider Program.
