THE University of Sunderland is offering car-parking and accommodation facilities for visitors heading to the Stadium of Light next month for the spectacular summer concerts.
More than 150,000 people will flood into the city in June to see performances by British rock giants Coldplay (June 7), one of music’s all time legends Bruce Springsteen (June 21) and US rockers – The Red Hot Chili Peppers (June 24).
To ensure everyone who has booked their ticket for a stress free concert experience, the university has secure parking spaces, which are just a short walk from the stadium.
Choose from our City Campus (Postcode: SR13RG) where you can either walk or take the Metro to the stadium or our St Peter’s Campus (Postcode: SR60AN) a few minutes’ walk from the venue.
Your receipt also entitles the driver in your party to a free soft drink in our student union bar NorthShore. www.sunderlandsu.co.uk/north_shore/welcome.
To book online, visit http://bit.ly/IGDGTM or telephone: 0191 5153366.
For visitors in need of somewhere to stay, the university halls are available, contact: email@example.com or call 0191 5152943.
Sharon Olver, Commercial Services Manager at the University, said: “UniSpace at the University of Sunderland and the Students Union are delighted to be working in partnership with the Stadium of Light and SAFC for the second year running to support the concerts.”
“Offering our car parking and university accommodation to concert goers and to the concerts supply chain strengthens our own and Sunderland’s position as a venue.”
