The Witcher is Back! The broadcast platform announced the completion of filming for the second season of the series about Geralt. Viewers can party and wait for the new episodes to premiere, while Netflix employees move to the next stages of the business.
More and more news indicated that the team responsible for the second season of “The Witcher” will be recording all necessary scenes soon. We found out when was the last day of filming and Henry Cavill rewarded all of his colleagues and thanked them for their support and expertise.
We can now officially confirm that scenes have been recorded until Season 2 of “The Witcher”. Netflix announced that the team has finished working on the set, so it will likely move on to the next stage of the business.
Netflix wastes no time – creating the following episodes of The Adventures of Geralt, Ciri, and Yennefer has never been the easiest. The first difficulty was the pandemic, which not only required adaptation to a number of limitations, but it also left some team out of action. Shortly before the end of 2020, Henry Cavill suffered a group injury which left him unable to fulfill his duties. It has been speculated how all these problems will affect the release date of Season 2 of “The Witcher”. But at the start of the year, the team got down to work extensively, which seemed to pay off.
