Paris: The International Tennis Federation (ITF) announced on Friday that Ike Ouedek will face the United States and the Czech Republic in Group D of the Billie Jean King Cup final.

The defending champions will lose to Russia because they cannot participate in the ITF tournaments after the invasion of Ukraine.

World number one Świdek was drawn into Group D at the 12-team final in Glasgow on November 8-13.

Switzerland, runner-up to Russia in the previous edition, tied with Canada and Italy in Group A.

Seven-times winners Australia will meet Belgium and Slovakia in Group B, while they host Spain, Kazakhstan and the United Kingdom in Group C.

Group A: Switzerland, Canada, Italy

Group B: Australia, Slovakia, Belgium

Group C: Spain, Kazakhstan, Great Britain

Group D: Czech Republic, USA, Poland
