Meeting of the Minister of Education and Science with the Argentine Ambassador to Poland

Minister Przemyslaw Czarnik met today, 15 September, with Mrs. Ana Maria Ramírez, Argentine Ambassador to Poland. The main topic of the meeting was the strengthening of Polish-Argentine cooperation in the field of education and science. The two parties emphasized that cooperation between our two countries in this field is an important and broad element of Polish-Argentine relations.

The Minister of Education and Science stressed the importance of academic exchange in strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries and societies. Universities and institutes as well as scientists and students from Poland and Argentina collaborate, inter alia, thanks to the support of national agencies that finance scientific research and international mobility.

The ambassador recalled the centenary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Poland and Argentina in 2022. The interlocutors agreed that the event would be a good opportunity to review the current bilateral cooperation and assess its future prospects.

Ambassador Ana Maria Ramirez confirmed Argentina’s interest in conducting joint research and initiating cooperation between scientific institutions. During the conversation, the Minister of Education and Science encouraged the Argentine side to take advantage of the offer of the National Agency for Academic Exchange.
