Marshal Piotr Całbecki has awarded scholarships to four hundred students from Kuyavian-Pomeranian schools who have achieved particular success in the field of humanities. The best will receive up to 4000 PLN!

Over the next ten months, the best Kuyavian-Pomeranian secondary and primary school students will receive support under the “Humanists for start” programme. The scholarship amount varies from PLN 200 to PLN 400 per month, depending on the results so far.

The vast majority of outstanding students are high school students – there are as many as 335 of them, and the 65 scholarship recipients are still primary school students, but have already shown high academic results. Many of the winners are Olympians and winners of several thematic competitions.

Humanitarians cannot only count on support in the form of a scholarship. The Marshal Office administers two other scholarship programs. The “Prymus Pomorza and Kujawy” program honors students who excel in science and foreign languages, while the “Prymus Zawodzie Kujawy i Pomorza” program is for the best students of technical schools and industrial schools. In both programs, the amount of monthly support is up to PLN 500 – the learning really pays off.
