Invitation to participate in the European Summit for Education and Innovation

June 23 this year the European Commission is organizing the European Summit on Education and Innovation. The event will be held in a mixed format. The deadline for participants to register for online participation is June 13.
The aim of the summit is to bring together key representatives from the world of education and innovation who will share inspiring knowledge and experiences about innovative educational practices. Talks will focus on building bridges between the education and higher education communities and the surrounding ecological innovation systems.
Participants will discuss, inter alia, about:
- The role of higher education institutions as an engine of innovation,
- The importance of enabling conditions for the development of creativity, stimulating career choices and developing entrepreneurial competencies among learners at all levels of education,
- Specific actions to increase innovation in teaching and learning in higher education.
The discussion will be an important step in the implementation and further development of innovative activities within the framework of the European University Strategy and the upcoming Innovation Plan.
Summit will meet on education and innovation
- Representatives of innovative higher education institutions from all over the European Union,
- Representatives of 41 European Universities Alliance,
- representatives of innovative European higher education institutions,
- Startups, entrepreneurs, companies as well as students and education representatives.
