Children between the ages of 3 and 7 in Wales went to school on Monday, February 22nd. Some students will also return to a full-time education. The Welsh government has decided that more school groups will follow in mid-March.

Scotland also adopted a similar strategy. February 22nd is the day that grades 1-3, as well as some high school students, return to school.

On Monday, Prime Minister Boris Johnson is due to present a plan to melt the economy for the coming weeks. Everything indicates that one of her elements will also return to school.

According to the Daily Mail, in line with Boris Johnson’s assumptions, returning to school in England will not be gradual. His plan is to bring all students back to the school walls at the same time. When will that happen? There are many indications that March 8 is already. Vaccination Minister Nadim Al-Zahawi told GMB ITV: “March 8th is the date when we want all school children to return to school.”

Teachers’ unions do not agree with this scenario. In their opinion, restoring full-time education in all classes at the same time could lead to a sharp increase in the number of new cases of coronavirus infection. If Boris Johnson doesn’t give in to their persuasion, strikes are possible.
