On Wednesday, May 11, 24 hours before the concert, there was a public rehearsal before the actual semi-finals. Although the judges’ ratings will not be known until Saturday’s final, Poland appears to have received good ratings. This is confirmed by the voices of journalists gathered in the press center, who once again enthusiastically reacted to the performance by Christian Ochmann. Unlike the first public rehearsal, this time there were no problems at the hearings, and in terms of vocals, our actor presented himself perfectly.

Christian Uchmann and the song “River”. How do you vote for Poland?

Only the participating countries and the Big Five, chosen at random, vote in the semi-finals. Spain, Germany and Great Britain will be in the second semi-final. During public rehearsal on Wednesday night, judges award their points, while viewers vote during Thursday’s semi-finals.

After the voting ends, points from the jury and viewers will be added, but until the end of the Eurovision 2022 final, we won’t know who won how many points. This means that the hosts will only announce the 10 finalists. To warm up our emotions as much as possible, the presentation arrangement will be arranged by Martin Österdahl, Producer of the Eurovision Song Contest.

From Poland, we can vote by sending a Premium SMS to all semi-finalists on Thursday, but not to Krystian Ochman. According to Eurovision rules, voting for a representative of your country is not allowed. There are, however, exceptions to this rule. Poles living abroad can, of course, vote for Christian – as long as they have a country-specific phone number. Voting will be facilitated by the official Eurovision app (downloadable for iOS and Android), but it will not free us from paying for SMS.
