Already this month, the 7th Culinary Festival of Edible Flowers will be held in the gardens of Hortulus Spectabilis in Dobrzyca (Koszalin poviat).

This year’s edition of the Culinary Festival of Edible Flowers will take place from July 16-17. This year’s event will be held under the theme: Bringing Edible Flowers to the Table in the Residence Garden. This is an original project created for the Food Flower Festival. The housing area is 500 square meters. It consists of two garden spaces: a sleeping area with a huge bed, on which there is a carpet of edible flowers instead of bedding. The Art Nouveau bed is made of concrete, with a concrete lamp standing next to it and huge books made of the same material. The second garden space is like a large living room with a 6-meter concrete table. The table is set for a feast in which edible flowers are served. There is also a console and floral motifs in various pots in the living room. All complemented by the original floor. The Garden Residence is sunk in the garden. The walls are hedges of boxwood. Trees and plants fit naturally into its space.

During the festival, specialists from W Legotko seed company will share their expertise with us, and florist Marius Siwak will prepare dishes using edible flowers. There will also be, among other things, flower shows, and more than 30 exhibitors, not only from the region, will present their specialties at the exhibition booths. Producers of organic and regional produce will showcase the best juices, pickles, preserves, vinegar and honey. Exhibitors will also include producers of natural cosmetics, flowers and herbs.
