Today is September 13 this year. The Minister of Education and Science, Przemyslav Czarnik, participated in the ceremony of providing support by the Ministry of Health to the program for the establishment of the European Center for Innovative Treatment of Macular Diseases at the Independent General Clinical Hospital No. 1 in Lublin.

– I wish you a quick implementation of the investment, as patients are waiting for it. I would like to thank the Ministry of Health for the “good to see” pilot programme. We are convinced that next year we will be able to implement it throughout Poland – said the minister.

In 2023, the European Center for the Innovative Treatment of Macular Diseases will be established in the restored historic palace in Lublin. It will be a facility equipped with infrastructure that meets the highest international standards.

The new infrastructure will expand the possibilities for treating macular diseases and allow medical procedures to be carried out in modern and appropriately air-conditioned settings.

The total value of the project is approximately 32.6 million PLN, including more than 32 million PLN from the state budget. The investment is scheduled to be completed in the third quarter of 2023.
