Monday’s dashboard update shows the death toll in Northern Ireland now stands at 724.
In the past 24 hours, a total of 493 new positive cases were reported.
This brings the total number of cases here since the start of the epidemic to 39,609.
Ministry figures also show that in the past seven days, 4,949 individuals have tested positive for Covid-19.
As of this morning, there are 52 coronavirus patients in the intensive care unit.

Minister Peter Weir asked parents to maintain a good practice of social distancing as their children return to class, by not gathering at school gates.
He also thanked the parents for the sacrifices they made under these difficult circumstances.
