In recent years, the authorities of the Middle Kingdom have invested huge sums of money in expanding their own fleet of giant chariots. They employ hundreds of top professionals who aim to create aircraft that are technically superior to the structures of their nearest neighbours. The Chinese are aiming for much higher goals – they are carefully learning and designing machines that will be able to fight the latest representatives of the American or Russian fleets. China’s secret program “J-XX”, which is developing at least two fifth-generation designs: the Shenyang J-31 and Chengdu-20, is the best proof of this. The rumors that have reached the media also indicate that interviews with the largest countries in the world talk about a greater number of projects, which are destined to turn in the framework of the “J-XX” program into a state-of-the-art multi-role and fighter. and unmanned aerial vehicles.
Chengdu J-20, the hero of our material, was built on the basis of the aerodynamic system “duck”, that is, with the elevator located in front of the main wings of the aircraft, which was made in a delta configuration. The tail section with two vertical stabilizers is limited by the rudder. Between the ballasts there are two adjustable nozzles that emit hot gases in one direction (so no vector direction is known here, for example from the F-22). However, it can be noted that the design bureau of Chengdu Aerospace Corporation, when creating the J-20, placed great emphasis on the maneuverability of the aircraft.
