DICE is still working on improving the latest shooter game. Battlefield 2042 will receive another update tomorrow, so the developers have provided full details of the improvements. This is the last correction before the Swedish studio holiday break.
The creators of the latest edition of the Battlefield series still can’t count on comfort. The title did not deliver the quality expected on the day of its premiere, so the developers have taken care of new patches that will improve the game. The developers have just confirmed it Update 3.1 will be released early in the morning, which will address some important changes:
– Improvements to the range that made missile hits more consistent.
Balance changes for projectile dispersal and recoil.
Subsequent changes in balancing to 30mm, 40mm and 57mm cannons on ground vehicles to reduce their effectiveness against infantry.
– Fixed a rare bug where a player could be invisible to enemies.
– Some bugs with grenades and ejector have been fixed.
– Improved transitions between individual menu screens for Xbox players to make it easier to opt out of cross-play.
A number of audio enhancements have been made to improve the overall audio experience, with particular attention to areas such as clarity, source distance and directional perception.”
DICE stresses that it wanted to correct it as quickly as possible to improve the players’ experience and provide them with a better experience. The studio also confirms that this is the last update to the game before the holiday season begins.
The Swedes now want to take a break to return with “new heads” early next year and be able to start the first season of competition on Battlefield 2042’s servers.
We can boldly doubt that from January developers will release new patches that eliminate bugs, but at the same time DICE should provide the first significant news for the game.
