ukasz Babiel, Director of Quality at CD Projekt RED, is leaving the ranks of the “Reds”, thus ending an eleven-year collaboration with the studio. The resignation sealed the decision made by ukasz Babiel a month ago – we read it on his Twitter profile.

Łukasz Babiel is a very experienced employee. He began his career at CD Projekt RED as Junior QA Specjalist (2011), and six years later co-founded Cyberpunk 2077 as a Quality Assurance Leader.

The reasons for his departure are unknown, and Babel himself assures that he collaborated “with the best people.” At the same time, as part of his farewell, he shared with fans the impact of his work on a 3D printer. We are talking about an original figurine depicting a character in the style of cyberpunk, and the whole thing is complemented by a comic that he got from fans.

Undoubtedly, the loss of experienced staff always raises some doubts – will it disturb the working rhythm of our original studio? Time will tell. The next generation of Cyberpunk 2077, which is fast approaching, will dispel any potential doubts.

The long-awaited update is also waiting for all game lovers, which will be the biggest update in the history of this game, with many improvements such as: a new user interface, improved artificial intelligence and improved game balance.
